## Interface

- **Search**: `exa-search` tool — general web search with keyword/neural/auto modes
- **Company**: `exa-company` tool — structured company research (employees, funding, competitors, news)
- **API Key**: Injected via environment or config

## Search Parameters

## Known Failure Modes (accumulated)

- **Rate limiting**: Exa has credit-based pricing. Monitor costCredits in responses.
- **Empty results**: Very specific or niche queries may return 0 results. Broaden the query.
- **Stale data**: Company research data may be months old. Cross-reference with recent news.
